He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Barnes Long; his sons, Jonathan Long (Ann) of Florence and Christopher Long of Bryan, Texas; his sister Judith Long Matthews (Charlie) of Midlothian, Virginia; his grandchildren, Taylor "Rosebud" Long Aldridge (Preston) of Union City and Cora Marie Long of Florence; and his great grandchildren, Bently Michael and Eliza Beth "Iva Myrtle" Aldridge of Union City, Tennessee..
