He is survived by: his wife Linda Abernathy; his children, Roger Abernathy, Susan Abernathy and Tim Abernathy; his grandchildren, Cobey Clanton (Savannah), Brady Burbank, Logan Brannon (Savannah) and Charlie Hatchett; and his great grandchildren, Cailen Burbank, Brantley Clanton and Anna'Rae Clanton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
