He was predeceased by: his parents, L. D. "Sweet" Rickard and Katheryn Gibson; his brother Danny Joe Rickard; and his niece Carrie Rickard Davis. He is survived by: his close friend Laura Biddle; his daughter Kayla Flashner; his grandson Aiden Hollander; his brothers, Dow Rickard (Skeeter) and Mike Rickard (Dean); his sister-in-law JoAnn Rickard; and his nieces and nephews, Bradley Rickard, Andrew Rickard, Amy Johnson, Amanda Jones and LaCinda Oyen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrison Funeral Home (12081 AL-20, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Florence City Cemetery (705 E College St, Florence, AL 35630).
