He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson Beckwith, Jr. and Millie C. Ragland Beckwith; and his siblings, Ruth Beckwith and Johnson Curtis Beckwith, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Idena Beckwith; his children, Heather Beckwith, Kristopher Beckwith and Andrew Beckwith (Amelia); his grandchildren, Aundraya Beckwith and Julian Beckwith; and his sisters, Margaret Woods, Anita Pringle, Josephine Ford and Hazel Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
