He was predeceased by: his parents, Nannie Knight and Horace Knight; and his wife Diana Lee Knight. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Knight and Jason Knight (Tina); his grandson John Knight (Madisyn); his sister Jane Brown; and his sister-in-law Sandra Howell. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and grand-nieces/nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenview Memorial Park (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633).
