He is survived by: his children, Jim, Gail McDonnell (Florence), Mark Sparks (Melinda), Franklin (Tenn) and Susan Balch (Jim); his siblings, O'Neal Sparks (Betty Jo) and Linda Underwood; and his grandchildren, Christy Puckett (Joey), Jennifer Thomas (Ken), Orlando, Adam Sparks, Norman, Okla, Andrew Sparks Birmingham (Joyce), Mary Beth Dischinger Decatur (Matt), Sabrina Hobbs, Melissa Odom, Florence and Amanda Reeves. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
