Janie Cooper Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Cooper of Florence, Alabama, born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Grayford Scott and Maxine Scott; and her sister Vicki Voyles. She is survived by: her husband Joe B. Cooper; her children, Terri Cooper Riley (Keith) of Searcy, AR and Mike Cooper (Dolly); her grandsons, Rusty Cooper (Kelsey) and Dalton Cooper; her great grandchild Reagan Cooper; and her sister Jean Grigsby (Larry) of Florence, AL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

The family will accept floral tributes or in lieu of flowers, a donation to Mars Hill Bible School would be appreciated.
