He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Cleo" Balentine and Linnie Balentine; his sister Viva Courtney; his son Joshua Balentine; and his grandson Chase Balentine.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Raney Balentine; his daughters, Becky Balentine and Lori Quillen (Joshua); and his grandchildren, Samantha Thomas, Caleb and Micah Quillen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
