He was predeceased by: his wife Nina Young; his son Gary Peck; his grandson Taylor Young; and his brother Dennis Young. He is survived by: his children, Scotty Young (Kim), Teresa Young, Greg Young and Delaine Carpenter (Jamie); his siblings, David Young, Gary Young, Steven Young, Nancy Balentine, Sue Richards, Rita June Thorne, Angie Martin, Jackie Lockard and Martha Byrd; his grandchildren, Jamie McClain, Kelly Brewer, Cody McCrary, Drew Peck, Ashley Warren, Jessica White, Reece Young and Owen Young; his great grandchildren, Oakley McClain, Alayna Warren and DJ Warren; and his niece Teddie Gray.
