He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Blevins; his parents, James M. II and Ethel V. Blevins; his brothers, Jerry Paul Blevins and Bobby Joe Blevins; his nephew Jerry Paul Blevins; and his niece Kimberly Shea Staggs.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Blevins (Kathy), Leigh Butler (Mark) and Brett Blevins (Becky); his grandchildren, Russ Bowling (Carissa), Tommy Blevins (Natalie), Harley Blevins (Shanise Allen), Tucker Blevins, Kayla Blevins and Piper Connell; and his great grandchildren, Bennett Blevins, Mae Blevins and Jane Blevins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Williams Funeral Home (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A burial will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 at 3:30 PM at 3452 Natchez Trace Pkwy, Cypress Inn, TN 38452.
