He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Patterson and Eulaia Patterson; his wife Dorothy Williams Patterson; and his brothers, Olon and Ralton Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Blair Patterson (Cathy) and Thalia Baker (Edward); his grandchildren, Chris Crowe (Lisette) and Ashley Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Levi and Iris. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
