He is survived by: his wife Peggy Talley Rickard; his children, Bart Rickard, Jennifer Hitt and Janet Ralph (Duane); his sister Janey Wright (Tim); his grandchildren, William Justin Hitt, Benjamin Jacob Hitt (Rebekah) and Jamie Ralph; his great grandchildren, Glory, Oak, Elijah and Nora Kate Minor; his nephew Ethan Wright; and his nieces, Cindy Rhodes and Candy Allen.
