She was predeceased by: her husband John Thomas Willis; her parents, Jack Lumpkin and Mattie Mae Lumpkin; and her siblings, Jackie Wilcoxson, Betty Scott, Charles Lumpkin and Billy Lumpkin.

She is survived by: her daughter Debra Ethridge (Stuart); her sister Barbara Scovotto; and her grandchildren, Virginia Grace Patterson, John Wallace Patterson and Lynton Stuart Ethridge, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
