He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel J. Rogers Beard; his son Jerry Beard; his granddaughter Shelaine Ann Maxwell; his parents, Earl Beard and Myrtle Beard; his siblings, Lester Beard, Robert Beard, Evenlyn Clemmons and Earline Davis; and his children-in-law, Lisa Beard and Ray Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Beard, Janice Jones, Martha Brackin, Allen Beard and Melinda Wynn (Donald); his grandchildren, Jason Maxwell, Emily Spillers, Jessica Wallace, Chelsie Brackin, Ab Beard and Lacey Wynn; his great grandchildren, Louie Maxwell, Lyla Maxwell, Hazel Spillers and Josie Spillers; his brother Chester Beard; and his close friend Dot Bolton.
