It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Wayne Reaves of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dewey and Flora Sherrill Reaves; and his grandson Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Willie Ruth Lancaster Reaves of Florence, AL; his son Gerald Wayne Reaves (Danita) of Malvena, OH; his granddaughter Jena; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Landen; his niece Doris Lynn Banks of Memphis, TN; and his siblings, Jim Reaves of Bethel Srpings, TN, Cliff Reaves of Adamsville, TN, Clifton Reaves of Selmer, TN, Sue Willard of Henderson, TN, Maudie Harris of Savannah, TN and Flora Jean Cates of Selmer, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
