It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Marks of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Marks to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Pigg and Pearl Pigg; her siblings, Eldred, Eugene, Harold, Carlton, Horace Pigg and Melba Richeson; and her stepdaughter Laura Brown.

She is survived by : her husband Sam Marks; her children, Janet Miles McCarley (Steve), Karol Miles Barton and Maury Miles; her siblings, Jimmy Daniels (Martha) and June Barrier (Tom); her siblings-in-law, Clifford Miles (Helen), Margaret Pigg and Barbara Pigg; her grandsons, William "Billy" (Leslie), Daniel (Jennifer) and Nicholas Miles McCarley; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Trapper, Will, John Robert and Anna Reece McCarley; and her stepsons, Mark (Alana) and Phillip Marks (Susan). She is also survived by six step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
