She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Lee Wright and Eloise Audery Ricahrdson Wright. She is survived by: her husband James Hugh Carson; her siblings-in-law, Martha Carson, Mildred Stephenson and Billy Carson; her nephew Bobby Stephenson; and her close friends, Cindy Jones and Joanne Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to North Carolina Cemetery.
