She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Cody; her parents, Henry Richardson and Lucille Vaughn Richardson; her brothers, James Allen, Bill, George A., Ed, Thomas and Mason Richardson; and her son-in-law Cliff Holland.

She is survived by: her daughter Helen Holland; her siblings, Jack Richardson, Larry Richardson and Frances Fowler; her grandchildren, Melanie Riley, Kristi Gay (Bobby, Jr.) and Codi Powell (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Kyle Riley, Lexi McMahon (Ryan), Ryan Riley, Wesley Gay, Delaney Powell and Mac Powell.
