She was predeceased by: her husband Billy "Pinto" Watson; her parents, Spencer Thompson and Abby Ray Thompson; and her siblings, John Thompson, Olive Thigpen and Nancy Rodgers.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Esther Henry, Cynthia Richey, Rebecca Miller, Wally Thigpen Jr., Steven Miller, John Thompson and Wayne Miller.
