It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Marie Borden of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Gene Borden; her siblings, Patty Burt and Glenn Bobo; and her son Charles Borden. She is survived by: her children, Gene Borden and Ginger Borden Harrelson (Terry); her sisters, Peggy Berry (Alan), Emma Posey (Mark) and Pam Voltz (David); her grandchildren, Heath Borden, Brett Terry (Lori), Blake Terry (Melanie), Shantayla Hogan (Omar), Kelby Borden (Katie), Chandler Borden, Joshua Harrelson, Carly Harrelson and Emily Harrelson; and her great grandchildren, Tanner Borden, McKenzie Borden, Sterling Terry, Ashton Terry, Daylon Hogan, Somaria Hogan, Leilani Hogan, Cadence Baker and Sophia Baker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenview Funeral Home (3657 Old Chisholm Rd, Florence, AL 35633). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
