She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gibson and Cecilia Gibson; her husband Hoyt Sledge; her son Danny Sledge; her granddaughter Jennifer Bray; and her siblings, Pat Gibson, Jackie, Jimmie, Mike (Lorraine) and Bill Gibson.

She is survived by: her brothers, George Gibson (Marie), Charles Gibson (Eleanor) and Bob Gibson (Mona); and her children, Darline Larson (Bruce), Mary Anne Rippey (Tim), Kathy Caston (Tim), Betty Taylor (Clay), Miles Sledge (Tina), Frances Keeton (Roger) and Tommy Sledge (Sabrina). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
