He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Stricklin and Bessie Price Stricklin; his brothers, Gilbert and Albert Stricklin; and his nephew Chester Stricklin.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Goodman Stricklin; his daughter Reba Stricklin Keyman; and his grandchildren, Jessica Jerrolds, Kara Jerrolds, Blake Maddox and Hannah Lerch.
