She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Mason and Corine Thompson Mason; and her brother William Shelton. She is survived by: her husband William Alexander Vaughn; her children, Dr. Alexia Corine Vaughn, Alexandria "Sandy" Williams (Kevin) and Alisha Grace McCombs (John); her grandchildren, Charis Olivia, John Christian, Bethany Grace and Lauren Faith; and her sisters, Claudette Goodloe and Ruby Newton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and close friends.
