He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris King and Owen King; and his son Richard King. He is survived by: his wife Vera King; his children, Chris King, David Staup, Jessica Staup and Tammy Tidwell; his grandchildren, Lilliana Epler, Johnny Reed, Zach Tidwell and Even Tidwell; and his siblings, Patsy Johnson, Wanda Brewer and Mark Owen. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to either Vera King or the Elkins Funeral Home in Florence, AL.
