With sadness, we share the passing of Miriam Currie Howard (Florence, Alabama). Miriam, born on January 19, 1938, passed away on July 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Leland Palmer Howard Jr.; and her parents, Vitus Currie and Miriam Currie. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Howard Taylor (Tommy) and William Leland Howard (Leslie Landers Howard); her grandchildren, Caroline Taylor Gallagher (Jimmy), Frank Campbell Taylor, Leland Palmer Howard and Martha Howard Mitchell (Andrew); her great grandchild Tommy Irons Gallagher; and her sister Marsha Currie Terrell (Eddie).

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Crosspoint Church of Christ.
