He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Lack and Mary Lack; and his siblings, Ben Lack, Jr., Johnny Lack and Edna Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Vaden Lack; his children, Mike Lack and Deborah Derrick (Larry); his siblings, Wayne Lack (Sandra), Lilly Mae Wright, Florence and Linda Barber (Jerry); and his close friend William Thomas. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
