She was predeceased by: her parents, Eloise Vernier and Glen Vernier; her brother Tommy Vernier; and her husbands, George L. Tilenius and Richard N. Hayles.
She is survived by: her children, Heidi Tilenius of Florence, AL and Jeff Tilenius of Chattanooga, TN; her granddaughter Summer McDonald of Atlanta, GA; and her cousin Betty Ann Bloom (Bandit) of Blue Ridge, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
