The memory of Nolan Richards of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on June 27, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney George and Esta Richards; his wife Helen; and his brother Beverly. He is survived by: his brother Raymond Richards (Nona); his children, Bruce Richards (Sherrie) and Robin Richards; his granddaughters, Kim Robertson (Derek) and Kiri Richards (Michael Clarke); and his great grandchild Isaac Robertson.

Nolan was also a member of the board that established the YMCA in the Shoals and the board of the RSVP.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to United Way of the Shoals, U.S. Sailing, or Trinity Episcopal Church.
