She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Womble; her parents, Paul Sanderson and Willie Ball Sanderson; her children, James E. Womble, Jr. and Brenda Gayle Womble; and her grandson Jonathan Brooks Womble.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Womble and Tracy Osborn (William); her brothers, Paul "Buddy" Sanderson (Diane) and Dickie Sanderson (Carol); her grandchildren, Matt Womble (Kim), Drew Womble (Hannah), Ashley Osborn Hill (Justin) and Emily Osborn Buffaloe; her great grandchildren, Brooks, Briley, Ansley, Rowen Womble, Carver Buffaloe and Jackson Hill; her daughter-in-law Brenda Perry; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Womble, Mary Womble and Elaine Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
