He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ann Wilson and Claude Lamb; his wife Keely Lamb; his grandmother Dorthy Wade Wilson; and his brother Bobby Payne.

He is survived by: his sons, Tim, Mike, Matt and Steven; his grandchildren, Katelyn of James, DJ, Kelly, Julie, Madelynn, Scarlett and Eli; his daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Amber; his brother David Kennedy; his nieces and nephews, David Lee Kennedy, Joshua Kennedy, George Payne, Wendy Kennedy and Bobbie Lee Payne; his stepfather Jimmy Haun; and his friend Larry Cordez.
