He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Harp Hogan; his parents, W. J. Hogan and Renee Dodd Hogan; and his siblings, Bill Hogan, Polly Underwood, Huey Hogan and Margaret Batchelor.
He is survived by: his children, Angie McClure (Robert), Steve Hogan (Teresa) and Stan Hogan (Alison); his grandchildren, Rachel McClure, Allison Haithcock, Kyle Hogan, Kirsten Stutts, Ashley Brown, Keith Hogan, Blake Hogan and Ben Hogan; and his brother James Leo Hogan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elkins Funeral Home (1535 Hermitage Dr, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Alabama Christian Children's Home.
