He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Wallace and Laura Wallace; and his son-in-law Patrick Hubbard. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Odom; his children, Thomas (Bonnie) of Florence and Jenni of Arlington, Virginia; his grandsons, Gabriel Aultman of Kennesaw, Henry, Brendan and Gus Hubbard of Arlington, Virginia; and his siblings, Franklin Wallace (Kay) of Decatur, Frances Tucker (Bobby) of Toney and Jim Wallace (Beth) of Florence. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
