He is survived by : his brother Ernie Frens; his daughters, Laurie Clement (Chris) and Cynthia Ferson (David); and his grandchildren, Corrie Lambert (Casey), Jennie Moe (Timmy), Chris Ferson (Bessy), Martha Ferson and Russell Ferson (Caitlyn). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
