He is survived by: his wife Sara Hicks Bruce; his children, Carol Humphries (Marshall) of Tupelo, Cheryl Kahler (Bill) of Lawrenceburg, Cindy Edwards (Jonathan) of Lawrenceburg and Richard G. "Richie" Bruce, Jr. (Denise) of Birmingham, Alabama.; and his grandchildren, Anna Robinson (Jon), Steve Graham, Jr. (Abby), Leigh Prince (John), Will Kahler (Tiffany), Drew Kahler, Ben Kahler, Charlie Edwards (Stephanie), Haley Kirkpatrick (Justin), Sally Darnell (Spencer) and Richard G. "Trey" Bruce, III (Channing). He is also survived by twenty three great grandchildren.
