He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Gayle Parrish; his parents, Edward Earl and Flora Parrish; and his sister Teresa York. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Young (Mary Ellen), Melissa Adams (Craig), Molly Parrish and Jessica Matos (Lisandro); his grandchildren, Austin Young (Abigail), Tyler Young (Brandy), Ashley Tellez (Omar), Nathaniel Young (Madi), Emma Lee, Piper and Quinn Adams; and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Sterling.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Central Heights Baptist Church (10090 Co Rd 15, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
