Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rhymes and Nettie Mae Rhymes; and his siblings, Dana Rhymes and Kaye Carlisle. He is survived by: his wife Debra Hayes Rhymes; his sister Teresa Stewart; and his friends, Jim, Clayton, Nolan, Corbin and Danny.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cross Point Church of Christ (1350 Cox Creek Pkwy, Florence, AL 35633).
