He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Perry Taylor; his son Ronnie Ernest; his parents, Leonard Taylor and Lou Rette Taylor; and his siblings, Duane Taylor, Zelma Davis, Zetta Sheehan and June Lemmons.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard, Jr. (Janis) of Paducah, KY, Perry (Karen) of Murfreesboro, TN, Bruce (Debby) of Marietta, GA and Hubert Powell of Florence, AL.; his grandchildren, Chris Taylor (Tisha), Grant Taylor (Tonya), Heather Steele (Dustin), Hannah Ratliff (Derek), Renna Clark (Ben), Kelsey Bagwell (Dillon) and Joshua Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Tori Sailors, Kylie Taylor, Caden Taylor, Taylor Steele, Nate Steele, Colt Steele, Faith Taylor and Ella Clark.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mars Hill Bible School or the Thailand Literature Program of the Salem Church of Christ.
