He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Garner and Aline Garner; and his siblings, Joe Garner and Mary Wylie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Garner; his children, Steve Garner (Janice), Jeff Formby (Kim) and Robyn Garner; his brother Bud Garner; his grandchildren, Owen Formby (Rachel), Austin Garner, Ryan Cole (Riley) and Lilli Miller; and his great grandchildren, Bo, Benjamin Formby, Rowan Garner and River Cole.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home of Florence (1950 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
