It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee Babcock in Florence, Alabama, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Hummel Babcock and Justin Babcock; and his daughter Tracy Leigh Babcock Witt. He is survived by: his wife Paula Rice Babcock; his daughter Debra Babcock Lester; his son-in-law David Witt; his grandchildren, Sara Phillips (Drew), Kate Mansell (Gary), Michael Lester, Lee Witt, Rachel Wellford (Crews) and Andrew Witt (Kelsi); and his great grandchildren, Brantley Phillips, Braxton Phillips, Barret Phillips, Brody Mansell and Carson Mansell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Christian Church, and St. Jude Children's Hospital.
