She was predeceased by: her husband Nathan Homer "Nate" Rickard; her parents, W. O. Goodwin and Lillian Goodwin; her son-in-law Jimmy Dowdy; and her grandson Curt Dowdy.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Dowdy of Florence, Billy Rickard of Florence, Bobby Rickard (Donna) of Florence, Beth Rickard of Florence and Anna James (Perry) of Muscle Shoals; her granddaughter Caitlin Gonzalez (Danny) of California; her children, Andrew Rickard of Florence, Christopher James and Brittany Gautney (Andrew) of Muscle Shoals; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Gautney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to North Wood United Methodist Church.
