The memory of Sandra Swinea of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Wilson Brockwell, Sr. and Pauline Brockwell; her husband Hollis Swinea; and her sister Wanda Brockwell Richardson Wesson. She is survived by: her brother E. W. Brockwell, Jr. (Patsy); her children, Steven Swinea (Valerie), Amy Bennett (late Warren) and Patrick Swinea (Kristen); her grandchildren, Matthew Swinea (Courtney), Michael Swinea (Amanda), Annalaura Wilson (Jack) and Caroline Swinea; and her great grandchildren, Caden Swinea, Summer Swinea, Emma Swinea and Hollis Swinea. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the El Reposo Nursing Facility or the Christian Services Foundation, Inc.
