She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Malvern Penney (Adeline McLemore Penney) and Sara; her brother Richard M. Penney, Jr. (Billie); her aunts, Josephine Penney and Julia Walker of Florence; her daughter Elizabeth Christian "Christy" McCorkle; and her granddaughter Adrienne Doss Ford.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Christian "Bud" Booream; her grandchildren, John Thomas Woodward (Lauren), Lauren Wright (Chase), Howard Christian "Trey" Booream, III and Margaret Elizabeth "Maggie" Tays (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Dawson, Sawyer Woodward, Molly and Colin Wright; her sibling's children, Mary Elizabeth Barone (Bob) and Richard M. "Rick" Penney, III (Cindy); her son-in-law Brad McCorkle; her stepson Dudley Doss (Dana); and her friends, Melody Pickens, Christina Clements, Gayle Lowery, Sue Grisham, Marsha Burleson and Vera McCarter.
The family asks that memorials be directed to First Presbyterian Church, Florence.
