He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Peterson and Marion Peterson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Shari Mathews; and his siblings, Ted Peterson (Penny) and Cyndy Scalora (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
