She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Lane and Ruby Lane; her husband Willie B. Duren; her daughter Connie Lee; her siblings, Carolyn Thompson and Charles Lane; and her grandson Andy Joe Richardson.

She is survived by: her children, Patsy Hale (Joe), Sandra Doty (Gary), Billy Duren (Suki), Jack Duren (Vicki) and Yolanda Creasy (Lonnie); and her siblings, Tommy Lane, Jean Lane, Katie Mitchell, Nancy Underwood, Darlene Pullum, Jimmy Lane and Donald Lane.
