She was predeceased by: her husband Orbie Lee Carpenter; and her sister Joyce "Ann" Richardson Garland. She is survived by: her children, Marcus Carpenter (Rochelle) and Julie Carpenter; her grandchildren, Curtis Patrick Thornton (Emilia), Nena Leah Thornton (Kyle Beer), Lindsey Carpenter Reed (Tanner), Christian Wolfe (Lilly) and Emma DeJong (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Baylor Reed, Abel Villalobos, Bella Marie Thornton, Valeria Wolfe, Louisa DeJong and Kolten Deen Thornton Beer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
