He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Newbern and Mabel Newbern; his wife Joy Newbern; and his son-in-law Mike Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Tony Newbern (Kathy), Angela Bartlett, Tamsy Wilson and Tina Oakley (Mike); his sister Joan Stutts (Jack); and his grandchildren, Clint Hudson (Jacque), Tiffany Smith (Chris), Brittany Newbern, Amber Bartlett, Nikki Watson (Andrew), Maliea Michael (Kendall), Stratton Oakley (Amanda), Jason Denton (Michelle) and Tiffany Johnson (Steven). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
