He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Roberts and Ruth Artella Skelton Roberts; and his siblings, Mary Lovell, Thurston, Roger Dale and William Glenn Roberts.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Terry Roberts (Patricia), Andrew Lovell (Tera), Elizabeth and Ruthie Lovell; and his friend Phillip Pruitt. He is also survived by many other friends, nieces and nephews.
