He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie "Bill" Buell McKee and Celestine Jones McKee. He is survived by: his caregiver Maggie Kilpatrick; his siblings, Gary McKee (Mary) of Albuquerque, N. M., Bruce McKee (Bo Hale) of Mountain Brook, AL., Dianne Haas (Ron) of Vestavia, AL and Janice Hendon (Terry) of Florence, AL.; his son Tommy; his grandchildren, Tammaca Bevis, Tonya Turpen (Greg) and Benjamin Kilpatrick; and his caregiver Makayla Gillen.
