Virginia Viola Delano Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Viola Delano of Florence, Alabama, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James K. Delano, Jr.; her parents, John Simpson and Minnie Todd Watson; and her sisters, Tallulah Watson Johnson and Wynell Watson Gann.

She is survived by: her children, Ken Delano (Crystal), Brad Delano (Myra) and Lori Delano McGuire (Greg); and her grandchildren, Austin Delano, Jesslyn Maxwell, Tressa Moore, Mary Brook Sifferman, Ben Delano, Linsey Tanner, Meg Conder, Cade McGuire and Clay McGuire. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials made be made to Partners for Africa through Cross Point Church of Christ or to Kruzn for a Kure Foundation.
