She is survived by: her daughter Aretha; her grandchildren, Quanza, Dedrick, Errin, Geremy and Justice; her great grandchildren, Akira, Preston, Jayden, Tavien, Drake, Cypress, Tyson, Olivia, Enzo, Elise, Mckennlie, Kiya, Kambre' and Kaliah; her sister Martha Casey; and her close friends, Johnnie Dollerson and Willie Brannon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson and Son Funeral Home (415 S Poplar St, Florence, AL 35630). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ekklesia Church (3007 Hatch Blvd, Sheffield, AL 35660). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at the Mt. Zion AME Cemetery (4335 Co Rd 189, Florence, AL 35633).
